Life...

Well, we are beginning to plan our trip to Glacier this summer, we are going to take our camper and hike, swim, camp...that's the plan, anyway. If anyone has any fun ideas of what to do in Glacier, fill me in.

I have a cute picture of the girls. Holly does not like her hair any way other than in a tiny ponytail on top of her head. This day Aubrey finally talked her into letting me put it in 2 cute little pig tails. They were both so cute I had to take pictures. The two of them crack me up. They are inseparable. They love each other to death, but could not have 2 more different personalities (aside from both being extremely strong willed.) I am so proud of my 2 girls!

Also, here is a picture of Cameron performing a flag ceremony as his final achievement for his "Bear" for Cub Scouts. The first picture is Cameron actually receiving his award.

Yes, he is wearing an astronaut outfit and not his Cub Scout uniform. This pack meeting they were supposed to dress as their favorite book character and his was Neil Armstrong (he read a biography...) That's Cameron for ya.
We had a Valentine dinner at the church building on Fri. night. We had a lasagne dinner together and watched the movie "Fireproof." Everyone should watch this movie. It does a good job of dealing with the idea that understanding how much you are loved by God truly frees you to love others. The acting is not going to win any oscars, that's for sure, but the message is powerful.
We are having our annual ladies fondue party tomorrow night. If anyone has any fun fondue ideas, let me know.

Back on Track

As you can tell from the title, we are finally getting back on track with our lives after our long journey. Part of that would be having no time to take pictures, so regrettably, there are none.

Quick update on our lives:

Tony:
Took a new job as a design engineer with the same company. He has been wanting to get out of quality for years, so he is excited. No raise, but he is happy to have a job with things going the way they are.

Tanya:
Nothing new...trying to keep up with everyone else. Soccer season is coming up and it is 6 weeks of utter chaos with 3 kids and 2 games and a practice each week per kid. Also feeling a bit nostalgic with my baby turning 4 this week.

Aubrey:
Aub is working harder on her school, music, attitude, and becoming quite the young lady. Gearing up for soccer to start soon. Her coach last year said she should try out for the competitive teams, but Aub set a goal to set 2 goals in a season and then try to move up. We'll see!

Cameron:
Graduated to a Bear from a Wolf in Scouts...worked hard for it, too. Switched troops, however, but the great thing about boys is that they all seem to take to each other pretty easily as long as nobody beats anybody else at anything. So they all welcomed him and he has a bunch of new friends.

Caleb:
Not feeling well lately....but hanging in there. Gearing up for soccer season as well. Becoming quite the reader but math is by far his favorite subject. The boy IS his Dad!

Holly:
Went skiing for the first time on her 4th birthday. She charmed one of the instructors into giving her a free lesson so she did great! She and "Joe" (the instructor) are great friends now and she was sure to write him a thank you when we got home.

Overall we are getting back into the swing of things...life is busy, fun, and we are trying to enjoy every minute of it.

"What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes."
James 4:14 Make the most of it!
