Here are some pics as promised:
Holly carrying her monster backpack to take a shower in the campground "by myself!"

Here we are at the trailhead of Corona and Bowtie arches.

The little ones running on the trail...doesn't show the digger Holly took immediately afterward.
There were tons of little caves and crevices for the kids to explore. They were not quite so confident as they are in the picture when the time came to get down from this steep cave! There was weeping and gnashing of teeth.
By the Colorado River...next time we're rafting down it!
Can you see us? We are under there. It makes you feel very small...
Tony under Bowtie Arch.
You can't tell at all from pictures but this view from under Corona Arch was absolutely breathtaking! Oh, the kids are cute too.
We'll be good, Daddy, we promise!
Time to go =-(

All in all, we had a great time! Utah is such a land of beauty!
By the way...bummer about BO getting elected president....
We missed you...all of you...We're glad you're finally home...but what were you thinking with the railroad tracks! Haven't you seen enough movies where bad things happen on railroad tracks? Also...I agree with the bummer.
ReplyDeleteSeeing those pics makes me miss you guys! The kids are so grown up...so beautiful! Wish I could have been there!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Aubrey in those pictures! Does look like a great place to explore.
ReplyDeleteAh, Moab. I'll never forget the spring break Ed Wilson and I spent down there. They still haven't forgiven us for plowing all those canyons with Ed's truck.
